Abstract

Using the energy analysis method, we study the motion of a kink pair in the presence of an external force and damping, based on a new two-component soliton model. The energy and the effective mass of a kink pair are found. The nucleation rate, the mobility and the conductivity of a kink pair are also calculated. The calculated results are in good agreement with the experimental data.
