Abstract

Rate constants for reactions of erythro-CF 3CHFCHFC 2F 5 and threo-CF 3CHFCHFC 2F 5 with OH radicals were determined by means of a relative rate method in an 11.5-dm 3 reaction chamber at 253 –328 K: k 1 ( erythro-CF 3CHFCHFC 2F 5 + OH) = (9.60 ± 3.39) × 10 –13 exp[–(1680 ± 100)/ T] and k 2 ( threo-CF 3CHFCHFC 2F 5 + OH) = (6.60 ± 2.06) × 10 –13 exp[–(1580 ± 90)/ T] cm 3 molecule –1 s –1.
