Abstract

The temperature dependence of fluorescence, phosphorescence and delayed fluorescence intensities and decay times were studied for the charge-transfer crystal of pyromellitic dianhydride-phenanthrene, between 5 and 300 K. A kinetic model which describes the behaviour of emission of this crystal is proposed. The temperature-dependent rate of deactivation of singlet excitons is discussed.
