Abstract
A difference was observed between the kinetics of the emission of superfluorescence by the laser dye oxazine 17 in proton-free and proton-donor solvents when solutions were excited with the second harmonic of single picosecond pulses from a concentrated-neodymium phosphate glass laser. The difference was attributed to the specific interactions between the activator and the solvent molecules.
