Abstract

The performance of a method for analyzing complex kinetic processes is demonstrated by the example of the thermal decomposition of nitrobenzene in the gas phase. A gradual increase in the number of reactions, determination of the parameters involved, and comparison with experimental data made it possible to construct a minimum mechanism capable of describing the experimental data within the selected pressure range. The rate constants for a number of reactions of radicals with the initial reactant and reaction products were determined.
