Abstract

Inhibition kinetic measurements were carried out with p-nitrosodiphenylamine as a molecule inhibitor in acrylonitrile-methyl acrylate copolymerization in solution. The effect of dilution on the stoichiometry of inhibition (μ) was studied at various initial monomer compositions. The value of μ for the investigated inhibitor depends on the solvent concentration ( s). The relationship between μ and s was interpreted in terms of the hot radical theory.
