Abstract

Aim: ApoE exhibits 3 major isoforms and its plasma concentrations differ according to individual genotypes. Compared with the common apoE3 isoform, apoE2 promotes type III hyperlipidemia, whereas apoE4 is associated with Alzeimer disease. We aimed to study the kinetics of apoE isoforms in humans to understand how they modulate apoE plasma levels.
