Abstract

The article discusses the investigations into photorefractive light scattering (PRLS) in nominally pure single crystals of stoichiometric composition (Li/Nb = 1) grown from a melt with 58.6 mol % Li2O. It is demonstrated that the asymmetric pattern of the scattering indicatrix depends on radiation intensity up to 160 mW. When the radiation intensity increases, the crystal is heated, resulting in a decrease in the scattering indicatrix.
