Abstract
The kinetics and product yield in oxidation of ethane and ethane–nitrogen and methane–ethane mixtures in the pressure range 10–70 atm are studied. The possibility of producing liquid organic products at high yield at a pressure of 30 atm and less is demonstrated. The promoting effect of methane on ethane oxidation to form methanol is detected.
