Abstract

The phase composition of an Fe2O3/Al2O3 catalyst was investigated by Mossbauer spectroscopy directly in the catalytic reactor simultaneously with the kinetics of nitric oxide reduction by carbon monoxide at 250–500°C and NO/CO=0–2.5 in argon. The reaction rate is proportional to the concentration of divalent iron.
