Abstract
A simplified three-parameter model for the interpretation of the kinetic data of coke formation during transformation of light olefins is presented. This model has been applied to the transformation of ethene, propene and 1-butene over fresh and regenerated zeolite USHY at 623 K. The proposed model covers both the coverage of the acid sites and the autocatalytic growth of coke.
