Abstract

The kinetics of the decomposition of thiourea dioxide in aqueous ammonia solution at various temperatures and ammonia concentrations has been investigated. The parameters of the individual steps of the process have been derived from experimental data by solving an inverse kinetic problem. The adequacy of the proposed kinetic model to the experimental data has been verified on the basis of the F-test and calculated correlation coefficients for the rate constants of the individual steps of the process.
