Abstract

Abstract Introduction and aim Hindfoot injuries can produce changes in bipedal standing and gait. The aim of this study is to determine a functional and biomechanical analysis on hindfoot and ankle injuries. Material and methods A group of 10 patients with hindfoot and ankle injuries were evaluated by means of a kinetic analysis of gait with a dynamometric platform. Results The analyzed parameters showed significant differences between the healthy and the injured foot.
