Abstract

Abstract The kinetic analysis of electroactive molecules has contributed to developing electrode materials for energy storage systems. In this work, we studied the applicability of the confinement effect to evaluate the redox reaction kinetics for quinone- and anthraquinone-based molecules. The kinetics of the redox reactions corresponded well with previously reported theoretical calculation results, suggesting that this novel method can be used as a simple method to investigate the redox reaction kinetics of quinone- and anthraquinone-based molecules.
