Abstract

Geometric analyses and mechanical methods are employed to study the work process of a slice shearing machine. The coordinate parameters of the key points and the kinematics parameters of the key structure elements are given, and the biting speed expression is also provided. The shearing function feasibility of the machine is discussed. The given results here can provide theoretical references for the shearing machine design and manufacture. The numerical results of the given example show the correctness of the analytical methods and the conclusions.
