Abstract

A way of determining the cluster structure of light nuclei is considered, using the example of 7Li. To obtain new data on the cluster structure of light nuclei, it is proposed that reactions of the quasi-free scattering (QFS) of particles on the clusters of the above nucleus be studied. Protons, deuterons, and α-particles can be used as projectiles to induce such QFS reactions. The approach is tested by modeling QFS reactions on the clusters of the 7Li nucleus, induced by deuterons and α-particles with energies of 15 and 30 MeV, respectively. The results from modeling indicate that using different projectiles in the reaction of quasi-free scattering allows better determination of the cluster structure of light nuclei.
