AbstractGas Utilities (MIC: 7.4 SIC: 4922 NAIC: 486210)Kinder Morgan Energy Partners is a pipeline limited partnership. As of Dec 31 2006, Co. owned or operated about 26,000 miles of pipelines and 150 terminals; its pipelines transported over 2.0 million barrels per day of gasoline and other petroleum products and up to 7.00 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas; and its terminals handled over 80.0 million tons of coal and other dry‐bulk materials annually and had a liquids storage capacity of about 70.0 million barrels for petroleum products and chemicals. Co. is also a provider of carbon dioxide for oil recovery projects in the U.S. Co. operates through four segments: Products Pipelines, Natural Gas Pipelines, CO2, and Terminals.
