Abstract
AbstractOil and Gas (MIC: 14.2 SIC: 4612 NAIC: 486110)Kinder Morgan Energy Partners is a pipeline limited partnership. Co. operates approximately 26,000 miles of pipelines and 150 terminals. Co.'s pipelines transport over two million barrels per day of gasoline and other petroleum products and up to seven billion cubic feet per day of natural gas. As of Dec 31 2006, Co.'s terminals handle over 80 million tons of coal and other dry‐bulk materials annually and have a liquids storage capacity of almost 70 million barrels for petroleum products and chemicals. Co. is also a provider of carbon dioxide for enhanced oil recovery projects in the U.S. Co. operates through four segments: Products Pipelines, Natural Gas Pipelines, C$2, and Terminals.
