Abstract
The Kinder Lernen Deutsch (KLD) Steering Committee looks back at 25 years of successful work in many directions of early language learning. At the same time, the committee looks ahead and identifies new projects and areas of expansion, thus changing its name to Deutsch an Schulen (DaS). It is in the interest of every German teacher at every level to support and encourage elementary school German programs and articulation in the K‐12 sequence.
