Abstract
National pride is linked with such categories as the nation, national identity, patriotism, homeland. It is historically conditioned, but its source is also: common faith, culture, tradition, language, customs, monuments and national treasures, and even the beauty of the land and nature. The manifestation of national pride, and thus patriotism, is attachment to national symbols – first of all the emblem, flag, anthem. The national pride, which is one of the manifestations of patriotism, does not mean chauvinism, nationalism - because of its attributes is because of respect for others nations and cultures.
