Abstract

Perovskite lanthanum titanium oxides are very stable but have large band gap and poor charge mobility. This talk presents our effort to tune lanthanum titanium oxides to enhance solar water splitting. Anion doping can result band narrowing while cation doping can increase charge mobility. Incorporation of lanthanum titanium oxides with the reduce graphene oxide sheets to significantly improve the charge extraction from the perovskite oxide. Also, transient absorption spectroscopy has been sued to track the charge dynamics.
