Abstract

Satisfied patients are more likely to maintain a consistent relationship with a specific health provider (Krass, 2009), which is essential in the current competitive healthcare environment. Patient satisfaction is an integral part of quality healthcare and is seen as an independent outcome. However, no research has been conducted into patient satisfaction within the bariatric dietetic service. The aim of this study was to investigate the views, perceptions, and key themes of patient satisfaction within a dietetic bariatric service.
