Abstract

Measurement of students' creative thinking skills is needed so that teachers as educators can develop steps that can be used to improve students' creative thinking skills. This type of research is descriptive research. The purpose of this study was to determine the creative thinking skills of students. The population in this study were all students of class XI at SMA SDI Silungkang for the academic year 2021/2022. The sample is determined by lottery. The sample in this study was determined by lottery. Data analysis with descriptive analysis. The results showed that the creative thinking ability of students was still very low. This is indicated by the acquisition of the percentage of creative thinking skills T5 (very high) as much as 3.9%, T4 (high) as much as 5.6%, T3 (moderate) as much as 7.5%, T2 (low) as much as 28.6%, and T1 (very low) as much as 54.4% of students. The choice of answers reflects the level of creative thinking skills of students. Efforts that can be made by teachers include varying the learning model that directs students to think creatively.
