Abstract

Magnetization reversal in microwires of nominal composition (Co 1− x Mn x ) 75Si 10B 15 ( x=0.07; 0.11) has been investigated by Kerr effect. Observed peculiarities of the magnetization reversal can be attributed to large Barkhausen jumps of circular domain structure for x=0.07. The magnetization reversal behavior is related to the change of sign of the magnetostriction constant with Mn content.
