Abstract

A scheme is proposed for designing an optical Kerr switch based on two-level emitter coupled to graphene resonator and cavity. It is worth to mention that the optical Kerr effect can be enhanced by tuning the frequency of pump light and increasing the coupling coefficient between graphene resonator and two-level emitter. Moreover, a method to measure the frequency of the graphene resonator is also provided. This work may open up a possibility for the application in the field of high-precision measurement and quantum information processing.
