Abstract

In this article, I present important results of the Kepler problem under repulsive inverse-square central forces. While motions of this type have been discussed thoroughly in the classical scattering theory, I do not find available literature that treats the problem as an analog of the Kepler problem under an attractive central force. My results are applicable to motions of dust particles subject to solar radiation pressure accelerations exceeding the solar gravitational acceleration in the two-body problem.
