Abstract
The advanced energy management system of the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) is described. Emphasis is on the power application software, computer system configuration, data acquisition subsystem, data communications, man-machine interfaces, security-constrained economic dispatch, and simulators for factory acceptance testing. Its functional overview, high system performance, and actual operating experience are also described. >
