Abstract

The idea for this special issue of Progress in Cardiovascular Diseases, entitled “Unusual Cardiomyopathies,” arose from a symposium at the November 2008 American Heart Association Annual Scientific Sessions held in New Orleans, LA, at which several of the contributors to this issue had the privilege of speaking.
