Abstract
Kelsey is a Roundup Ready® canola-quality B. napus cultivar adapted to the canola-growing areas in western Canada. It has high oil content, early maturity, good lodging resistance, and moderate resistance to blackleg disease. Kelsey is superior in all of these traits, except for lodging, to the 3 check cultivars, AC Excel, Defender, and Legacy.
