Abstract

This chapter presents an overview on the specific reference to recognize the Samson story, their motifs that occur again and again in a similar manner in the narratives of the Middle prophets. Even from the few mentioned parallels it is clear that Simson has to apply major positive figures in Israel's history. Against this background, possibly even Heb 13 is understood as an allusion to the Samson story. Early Jewish plays an important role in an Old Testament. The early Judaism certainly reflected most Old Testament narratives in which it is stated that angels to make People can be mentioned in the Book of Genesis. The overview of the various Greek textual witnesses the book of Judges provides literal reference to the LXX version of Alexandrinus.
