Keberlanjutan Usaha Desa Melalui Pemberdayaan Potensi Desa di Wilayah Kelurahan Canrego, Kecamatan Polombangkeng Selatan Kabupaten Takalar

Abstract

In the midst of media information, things that need to be empowered is information. Empowering information is a process of communication that was built by the community in informing what happened to him and his surrounding. Itwas built from public awareness of other people or the environment. The empowermentof information can brings other people to be more concerned to others, rather than think of oneself as in the economic context - before others, you must established first. Today, in the context of information,the community must treat information not as a means to get it, but as a means to convey something. Community empowerment through information can be implemented to support the in promoting of rural potential. The method used is to use three approaches, namely the lecture approach, sharing experiences, and discussion. The results of the study show that the Village Potential in the Canrego Village Area, South Polombangkeng District, Takalar Regency has not been well developed. The community empowerment process should also be accompanied by a multidisciplinary team of facilitators who can mobilize the community's potential and help them to provide knowledge on how they can share their activities, culture, and information owned by the local community through various forms of both activities and media.
