Abstract

The dynamic interaction between train and bridge under high-speed movement is complex. The methods using the equivalence coefficients or the analytic model with simplified assumptions cannot accurately analyze the dynamic behavior of the high-speed railway bridge, especially in the cases of resonance. KD-Railway was built to reduce time consumption for dynamic simulation and improve the model's accuracy. This software uses the solver of the open-source Cast3M platform for finite element analysis, integrating the interface developed in C# and Python. In this study, we summarize the primary functionalities of KD-Railway version 01 with the validating results compared with different analytical methods and experimental measurements that existed in the literature. This result is a scientific basis for further studies using KD-Railway to analyze the dynamic response of high-speed railway bridges.
