Abstract
On the basis of the Kazimierz Twardowski’s diary, its analysis and also excerpts from his letters to Wladyslaw Witwicki, I describe: (1) the essence and causes which made the “Twardowski-Kreutz” relation so complicated; (2) the untold story of an uphill battle for the department of psychology in University of Jan Kazimierz and for Kreutz’s scientific degrees.
