Abstract

International Community has been oblivious to the suffering of the Kashmiri people. This disappointing reaction has been ignoring the fact that the dispute is one of the first that came before the United Nations Security Council and has attracted 11 UNSC resolutions. This paper further explores the historical nuances surrounding this historical dispute, the insertion and later abrogation of Article 370. It also looks at a possible step that Pakistan can undertake if the suffering of Kashmiris fails to subside.
