Abstract

Cole and Crump, 1 in 1920. reported 2 cases of Kaposi's sarcoma, in 1 of which it was complicated with lymphatic leukemia. A case of Kaposi's sarcoma and lymphatic leukemia was recorded in 1931 by Hufnagel and Dupont. 2 Another instance of lymphoblastoma (mycosis fungoides) and hemorrhagic sarcoma of Kaposi was described by Lane and Greenwood 3 in 1933. Our patient was presented before the Manhattan Dermatological Society in 1943, by Dr. I. Rosen. 4 The reasons for this report are, first, the small number of reported cases of the coexistence of the two diseases and, second, the unusual pathologic finding of the two diseases in the same lesion.
