Abstract

Abstract The coupling constants G K N Λ and G K N Σ are obtained from the Goldberger–Treiman relation in the strange channel with chiral symmetry breaking taken into account. The results, G K N Λ = − 12.3 ± 1.2 and G K N Σ = 5.5 ± 0.5 come close to the SU ( 3 ) values.
