Abstract
The article consists of an examination of the various versions of the letter 12 of Spinoza’s Correspondence, the ‘Letter on Infinity’. It is legacy in two Latin versions, one of which comes from Leibniz and the other from Meyer, and a Dutch version. In our study, we will collate the two Latin copies, in order to verify if there is not enough evidence to be able to consider them translations of the dated text written in Dutch language.
