Abstract
Background: In Indonesia typhoid fever was still endemic disease and come into question serious health. Number of typhoid fever occurence was known higher in country that was expanding in tropical area as in Indonesia.Typhoid Fever its link with higiene individual and environment sanitation. Child was the most easy suffer from typhoid fever, although the symptom that experienced lighter child from adult. In some developing countries that still become endemic area typhoid fever, case that happened it was normally because drinking contamination water and ugly sanitation. Infection happens if consumes food that provided by patient of typhoid fever that not clean hand properly after to toilet. Infection can also does so at drink water that has been impure bacterium Salmonella.This Research bent on to know factors that have an effect onto occurence of typhoid fever disease at balita in Indonesia. Methods: Analysis Type that weared was analysing descriptive at reading copy to see proportion and analysis multivariate logistic binary to see factor-factor that influence occurance of typhoid fever at balita. Designed research in accordance with Riskesdas 2007, that survey was cross sectional that have descriptive character. Results: Research Result indicates that factors that have an effect on in order not to happened disease of typhoid infection is defecating on site that good (latrine), and clean hand truly (wear soap). Recomendation: Suggested that related parties more concerned about up to standard delivery of family latrine, and existence of counselling higiene sanitation to society about the importance clean hand that correctness wear good soap after defecation, after clean dirt baby, before eat, and also after hold animal/poultry.
