Abstract

The Gambuh dance performed at Kahyangan Tiga Temple, Anturan Village, Buleleng District, Buleleng Regency contains ethnopedagogical values. The people in Anturan Village hold the Gambuh Dance very sacred because the performance uses masks which are believed to have mystical powers. Based on the uniqueness that has been explained, it is necessary to conduct further research regarding Gambuh Dance in Anturan Village, Buleleng District, Buleleng Regency. This research aims to determine the form, function and ethnopedagogical value of Gambuh Dance. The theories used in this research are Form Theory, Function Theory, and Hermeniotic Theory. Using various points of view, obtained from interviews and literature review, the meaning contained in the Gambuh dance performance in Anturan Village, Buleleng District, Buleleng Regency will be obtained. The Gambuh dance is performed during the piodalan ceremony at Kahyangan Tiga Temple, Anturan Village, Buleleng District, Buleleng Regency. Preparation of the place was carried out by the community at the temple office. The play taken in the Gambuh Dance performance is the play Cupak Gerantang. After that, the offering ceremony is carried out in the form of offerings of sorohan and segehan akedengan. After that, the Gambuh Dance performance was carried out. The function of the Gambuh Dance performance at Kahyangan Tiga Temple, Anturan Village, apart from being a complement to the piodalan ceremony, also has other functions, namely religious functions, social functions, educational functions, cultural preservation functions and entertainment functions. The ethnopedagogical values contained in the Gambuh Dance performance at Kahyangan Tiga Temple, Anturan Village, include: spiritual attitude values, polite attitude values, social attitude values, competency values, cooperative attitude values, aspects of knowledge and courage values, legal values of karma phala, as well as dharma and adharma valuesKeywords: Ethnopedagogy, Kahyangan Tiga, Gambuh Dance
