Abstract

This qualitative research focused on finding out the varied cultural values among DII-students of Primary School Teacher Education, concerning achievement goals in their academic activities. The data obtained through interviews and observation were analyzed inductively. The findings suggest that there is no significant difference in the orientation of academic achievement among students of different ethnic groups. This orientation also goes beyond academic context
