Abstract
Today, computers and mobile phones are integrated in the daily life of people. It is a matter of pride that Tamil, our mother tongue, is featured in the computer. Computers and software are combined with the Tamil language to make the saying ‘sweetness and wateriness are Tamil’ true. Being the language of use in many countries, Tamil has earned a special place for itself. Tamil Literature, Language, Linguistics History, Nature of Language, cultural Elements Today, ideas are uploaded on computers and internet at various levels. These are very useful for Tamil language development to solve the problems of uploading Tamil language news on computer and internet; various Tamil language software’s have emerged. This review aims to reveal the functions of Tamil software such as computers, machine translation, Tamil font converters, grammar, and punctuation corrector, spell corrector, etc.
