Abstract

A large class of integrable two-dimensional field theories exhibit Yang-Baxter-Zamolodchikov-Faddeev (YBZF) algebras and Kac-Moody (KM) algebras. Examples of them are chiral fermionic models, sigma models and Wess-Zumino-Witten sigma models. With their help an explicit link is found between representations of YBZF and KM algebras.
