Abstract

Objectives The purpose of this study is to analyze the professor’s Perception at S University regarding K-MOOC
 operation for revitalizing K-MOOC operation.
 Methods A survey was conducted on professors working at S University, and basic frequency analysis, technical
 statistics and The Locus for Focus model according to Borich demand analysis were conducted.
 Results First, K-MOOC has a higher overall level of awareness than overseas platforms, but is relatively lower
 than the level of awareness of domestic platforms. In particular, the level of awareness of the promotion of the
 K-MOOC platform showed a relatively low level of awareness. Second, it was found that there was a high proportion
 of basic agreement on the need to develop K-MOOC courses, and few professors experienced course development,
 but the willingness to participate was high. Third, there was a high overall perceptions of the importance
 of the K-MOOC operation revitalization, but a low overall perception of implementation. In particular, it
 was found that solving copyright-related problems was the most urgent to revitalize the K-MOOC operation.
 Conclusions It is necessary to actively consider 1) diversification of promotional means to revitalize K-MOOC operation,
 2) human, material, and administrative support for professor should be provided so that participation in
 K-MOOC course development can be activated, and 3) in the operation of K-MOOC, counterplan at the government
 or university level regarding copyright issues should be prepared first.
