Abstract

Purpose. Increasing the efficiency and quality of spraying field crops and ensuring the environmental safety of this process using multicopters. Methods. The paper uses scientific and practical recommendations for the use of spraying devices for field crop sprayers from the point of view of adapting these factors to the conditions of using multicopters for this process. Results. The type and main parameters of sprayers for plant protection against pests and diseases, which ensure high quality of the process of spraying field crops with the use of multicopters, are substantiated. Conclusions 1. The highest quality application of plant protection products using multicopters will be provided by ID3 nozzles with a combined bayonet head Twinspraycap from Lechler (Germany). 2. The opening angle of the torch up to 90° affects the distance between the sprayers almost directly proportionally; further increase of this angle is impractical due to a sharp decrease in the quality of spraying. 3. At the optimal flight height of the multicopter sprayer of 2 m and the use of nozzles with a torch opening angle of 80°, the distance between the nozzles should be 1.7 m.
