Justification of the spectral method for calculating the propagation constants of waveguides and microstrip and slotted lines

Abstract

The general scheme of the spectral method for determining the propagation constants of eigenmodes in a shielded slotted waveguide is presented. The method is justified, and the general properties of the spectrum of eigenmodes in the waveguide are established.
