Abstract

Considering the capacity of literature in relation to the projection of legal meaning to feed the involuntary memory of law, the present work proposes a reflection around the idea of justice as brought by Friedrich Dürrenmatt’s narrative, with the intention of demonstrating how his works offer an image of real justice alien to the legal canon, but no less true for that. In this sense, the paper analyzes the main works by Dürrenmat that approach the theme of justice, paying special attention A Dangerous Game, a story in which, through the allegory of a dinner, the organic trace and the ancient logic of sacrifice that characterize the modern judicial system.
