Abstract

A discussion on jurisdictional discovery in U.S. federal practice and its implications for transnational litigation is presented. The article explains the practical application of jurisdictional discovery as well as the special means by which multinational actors can avoid or limit jurisdictional discovery based on decisions from the U.S. Supreme Court. The future of jurisdictional discovery in the transnational context is explored.
