Abstract

Law enforcement of narcotics crimes must continue to be improved because narcotics crimes that occur in the Riau Islands region which are handled by the Barelang Police drug investigation unit are a common problem in the communities of the Riau Islands region. Activities that occur in the production, distribution and distribution processes cause the circulation of narcotics very quickly. The detective unit has conducted outreach and outreach to the community regarding the use of narcotics in the Riau Islands region, the aim of doing this is to reduce or even eliminate the circulation of narcotics in the Riau Islands region. Law enforcement provided for criminal narcotics cases is not only rehabilitation but there is also the death penalty. The problems in this research are the regulation of law enforcement for narcotics crimes in a convenant perspective (researcher's study at the Barerang Police narcotics research unit), how to implement law enforcement for narcotics crimes in a convenant perspective (researcher's study at the Barerang Police narcotics research unit) and what factors are involved. become law enforcement for narcotics crimes from a convenant perspective (researcher's study at the Barerang Police narcotics investigation unit).
