Abstract

The article deals with the central role of Mary in Christian life from the rereading of Acts 1,12-14 in the context of the 2020 national Marian year signed by the pandemic and the quarantine. The reflection develops the biblical and theological founda- tions of the fontality of the loving knowledge of Mary, and its place in the maternal affection of the Church, as a point of support for a pastoral activity that prioritizes the confident Marian piety and the caring and maternal presence of Christians at home, in society and in the common home.
