Living, studying, and working in South India was a unique experience. I stepped into a different world when I left the airplane which had brought me the 12,000 miles from New Jersey to Madras. My first impression of India was one of masses of people. The sight hit me like a sle ge hammer and a great feeling of loneliness swept over me.
